Yahoo Backup Software is a tool that lets you extract the emails from any Yahoo account and save them locally to create backups or export them to another service like email.

Once you select your account and the items to export, you can package them in various formats like PST, MBOX, MSG, PDF, TXT, HTML, EML, and EMLX. Thanks to this, it's possible to read them locally or use native import tools from services like Gmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or any other service that accepts the IMAP standard.

Along with the body of the emails it's also possible to export the attachments and entire internal format structure, so you don't lose any pieces of info from the inbox or outbox of your Yahoo account.
